Privacy Policy
LivePhoto is designed to create Live Photos from media you choose. The creation workflow runs on your device.

Media Access
LivePhoto asks for access to the video or photo you choose so it can create a Live Photo. The app also asks for permission to save the finished Live Photo to your Photos library.
Data Processing
The media you select is used for the creation workflow on your device: trimming a short moment, choosing a key photo, previewing the result, and saving the generated Live Photo.
Analytics And Tracking
LivePhoto may collect privacy-minimized product analytics to understand whether people can import, edit, and export successfully, which use cases they select, and how they respond to optional product research. This includes a random installation identifier, session identifier, app and major operating-system versions, broad device class, workflow event names, failure categories, coarse video-duration ranges, and answers you voluntarily submit in the app.
Analytics does not include selected photos or videos, file names, file paths, advertising identifiers, account information, or contact details. It is used only for product analytics, is not linked to your identity, and is not used to track you across apps or websites. You can turn off product analytics at any time from LivePhoto's Privacy settings; queued events are deleted when you turn it off.
Product Research
Optional questions may ask how you plan to use a Live Photo, which result you value, or whether you would consider a clearly disclosed future feature at a displayed price. These evaluation screens do not make a purchase and do not charge you. If interview recruitment is enabled, it opens a separate form. Contact information entered there is kept separate from in-app analytics and is used only to arrange the interview.
Retention
Product analytics is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate the app's workflow and research questions. Locally queued events are limited in number and are retried only when analytics remains enabled.
Children's Privacy
LivePhoto is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the app changes. The updated date on this page will reflect the latest version.
